Ahead of the launch, a new leak has revealed almost all the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. A popular tipster PandaFlashPro has revealed these details on X. According to the tipster, the upcoming Ultra flagship will come with many features including the already great design and hardware. Let’s take a look at the details revealed…
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Expected Specs
Display: Let’s start with the display first. According to the tipster, Samsung is reportedly sticking with the same large 6.9-inch panel found on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but the bezels are even thinner this time, which could give the phone an even more attractive edge-to-edge look. The screen-to-body ratio is also expected to increase.
Design: Regarding the design, the tipster said that Samsung will not make any major changes in the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, instead, Samsung will make minor changes. The overall size and build appear similar to the current Galaxy S25 Ultra, but there is one important upgrade: the back is getting a clean finish. The protruding camera rings are reportedly being removed. They will be replaced by a sleek camera layout, which will look more integrated and less cluttered.
Camera: Talking about the camera, the tipster said that the S26 Ultra will get a lot of powerful features. It has a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 primary sensor, which is now paired with a new lens to further improve image clarity and low light performance. There is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an upgraded 50-megapixel periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom – perfect for capturing distant objects with detail. Interestingly, the familiar 3x telephoto is also going to be upgraded, with Samsung testing a much sharper 12-megapixel sensor than the 10-megapixel unit in the previous model.
Apart from this, a new laser autofocus system is also rumored to be available, which is designed to focus even faster, especially in low light. As for the selfie camera, it is said to be getting a refresh as well, though details are yet to be revealed.
Processor: The Galaxy S26 Ultra could come with Qualcomm’s all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. Unlike previous years, this chipset will reportedly be used globally – there’s no separate Exynos variant this time around. Samsung had reportedly planned its own 2nm chip, but that has now been shelved, leaving the TSMC-made 3nm processor in the spotlight. It could now come with the traditional ‘for Galaxy’ overclock, offering faster performance than the standard version.
To ensure the phone doesn’t overheat, Samsung is upping its thermal game. The new model is expected to get a larger vapour chamber cooling system, rumoured to be 1.2 times larger than the S25 Ultra’s cooling system, which should help keep temperatures in check. This should lead to better performance during gaming or heavy multitasking, and possibly even increase battery efficiency.
RAM and storage: Samsung is not skimping on memory. The upcoming model is said to get standard 16GB RAM across all storage variants including 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. There will be no compromise on multitasking even in the base model. So even though the Galaxy S26 Ultra may not be a completely new design, it is clearly a carefully crafted upgrade.
