Japanese OEM Terra Motors has launched its Keoro+ electric auto to meet the growing needs of urban mobility in India. Terra Motors has already sold over 1 lakh electric rickshaws in India. Now with this new model, the company aims to capture 5 to 8% share in the electric three-wheeler market. The company plans to set up 100 dealerships across the country and increase monthly production to 5,000 units by the end of 2025.
To make Keoro+ accessible to all, the company is offering zero down payment and the first three service visits for free. Keoro+ offers a range of up to 200 km on a single charge. It accelerates from 0 to 28 kmph in just 5.6 seconds. It has a top speed of 55 kmph. The vehicle is capable of handling steep inclines of up to 252% even when fully loaded. It has spacious seating and a large luggage compartment for a comfortable journey.
Customers can book the Cayoro+ by visiting Terra Motors’ official website or authorised dealerships. Terra Motors’ senior leadership was also present at the launch event and discussed the growth of India’s EV industry, the role of Japanese technology and innovation. “With over a decade of manufacturing and operating experience in India, Terra Motors has established itself as a leading player in the country’s EV space. The company has sold over 100,000 L3 units and has become a market leader in Eastern India.”
