Audi India is preparing to launch its new-generation Q3 in the country. The company is set to launch it in India on October 16, 2026. The India-spec model was unveiled in August 2026 and marks the first of Audi’s new-generation cars to arrive in India. The new Q3 will replace the current second-generation model, which has been on sale for about four years. The SUV will be locally assembled in India, and bookings have already commenced this month. The new Audi Q3 will feature a powerful engine. Let us take a detailed look at its features.
Turbo-petrol engine option only
The new Audi Q3 is expected to come exclusively with a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine this time around. While the company has not yet officially confirmed the power figures for the India-spec model, it is believed that the engine will deliver approximately 204 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Notably, power will be transmitted to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro AWD system, which is expected to be offered as standard across the Q3 range.
Bold Design with Split Headlamps
The exterior of the new Q3 appears more aggressive and robust compared to the current model. It replaces the traditional headlamp setup with a split headlamp design and features configurable DRLs. The side profile showcases body-colored cladding, a chrome beltline, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and black trim extending from the side windows to the rear windscreen. At the rear, split-design tail-lamps, an illuminated Audi logo, and a spoiler lend the SUV a premium look.
High-Tech Cabin with Dual Screens
Significant changes have been made to the cabin as well. The new Q3 features a dual-screen setup comprising a digital driver display and an infotainment system. It also gets a 4-spoke steering wheel and a steering-column-mounted gear lever. In terms of features, it will offer a Sonos sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera.
Expected Price Range: ₹55 Lakh to ₹60 Lakh
As it is a new-generation model, the Audi Q3 is expected to be priced higher than the current version. Currently, the Q3 is priced between ₹43.67 lakh and ₹53 lakh (ex-showroom). The starting price for the new Q3 is expected to be around ₹55 lakh, with the top-end variant reaching approximately ₹60 lakh. In India, it will compete against luxury SUVs such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Mini Countryman C.
