Mahindra Scorpio N: Mahindra has recently launched the new Z4 automatic variant of the Scorpio-N, which comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. Let’s know about its price, engine and features.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Features: Mahindra has recently launched the new Z4 trim automatic variant of its popular SUV Scorpio-N in India. While the automatic option was earlier available only on the Z6 and Z8 trims, now customers can opt for it on the Z4 trim as well.
The Z4 petrol automatic variant is priced around Rs 17 lakh ex-showroom, while the diesel automatic version is priced around Rs 18 lakh. It is priced around Rs 1 lakh less than the Z6 trim, making this variant a great option for budget-friendly SUV buyers.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Engine and performance
Talking about engine and performance, the Z4 variant comes with two engine options. The first is the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine that produces 203 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque (in the automatic version). This engine comes mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The other option is the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, which produces 132 PS and 300 Nm of torque in rear-wheel drive. At the same time, its 4WD version (Z4 E) generates 175 PS and 370 Nm of torque, although it is currently only available with a manual transmission.
Mahindra Scorpio-N features
In terms of features, the Z4 variant comes with many important and everyday features. It has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets multifunction steering control, rear AC vents, halogen headlights, LED turn indicators, 17-inch steel wheels, rear spoiler, power windows and fabric upholstery. In terms of safety too, good attention has been given to the Z4 trim. It gets safety features like dual front airbags, ABS and EBD, hill hold control, hill descent control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and three-point seat belts.
Bookings for this variant have already started at Mahindra dealerships across the country and the company may start delivering it soon. Overall, the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 Automatic is a great choice for customers who are looking for a feature-loaded and budget-friendly automatic SUV.
