Renault is gearing up to expand its vehicle lineup in India. It is planning to launch updated models of Duster and Pixter. According to the latest reports, Renault is expected to launch petrol-powered variants first, followed by hybrid models of the two SUVs.
Apart from these, Renault is also planning to launch the Triber facelift model soon. Recently, a test car of the Renault Triber facelift model was spotted in Chennai. Although the test vehicle is fully camouflaged, it seems that it will be released with a newly designed front.
The previously released test photos revealed that the car will have square-shaped rear lights. However, this time, the test vehicle has revealed the front of the upcoming model of the Triber. The current photos suggest that the Triber facelift model will get a newly designed front look.
The new car is offered with revised headlamps integrated with LED DRLs. The spy shots also suggest that the new Triber facelift model will get round-shaped fog lamps and horizontally placed air dams.
On the inside, Renault is expected to bring some updated technology like a larger infotainment screen and a newly designed dashboard.
Renault has not yet revealed any details about the Triber facelift. However, it is expected to retain the powertrain as offered in the current models. It is likely to get a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
