After exiting its direct operations in India in 2020, Harley-Davidson is partnering with India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp to handle distribution, service and product development. The partnership has led to the successful launch of models like the Harley-Davidson X440, an entry-level bike designed specifically for Indian roads.
Automobile industry insiders say the collaboration has been a game-changer. It allows Harley-Davidson to continue catering to its premium audience while also leveraging Hero’s vast network.
