Hero’s new electric scooter Vida VX2 will be launched on July 1, 2025. The leaked images have revealed the design and some features, including a design similar to the Vida V2 and possible battery options.

In early 2022, Hero MotoCorp launched a mobility solutions brand called ‘Vida’, whose first product was the Vida V1 electric scooter. Now Vida is going to launch a new model called Vida VX2 on July 1, 2025 to expand its product range. Pictures of the scooter have been leaked online even before the official launch, revealing its design and features.

Vida VX2

The overall design and styling of the Vida VX2 is similar to the Vida V2 showcased at the 2025 India Mobility Global Expo. Seen in bright yellow, the electric scooter shares many design elements like the headlight, LED taillight, 12-inch wheels and switch gear with the Vida V2. However, its TFT display is smaller than the 7-inch TFT console of the Vida V2. The single-piece seat and physical key slot suggest that it will be an affordable option. It also has a conventional key instead of a keyless start system.

The new Vida VX2 will join Hero MotoCorp’s budget-friendly range and will be positioned below the existing lineup. The unseen electric scooter reveals that it will be called the VX2 and not the Vida Z. Also, with the Plus badge, the new Vida VX2 could come in three variants – Lite, Plus and Pro. The new electric scooter could be available in three battery packs – 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh and 3.9 kWh.

Hero vida vx2 colour options

The Vida VX2 spotted is in an attractive candy yellow colour, which is a new paint scheme in the Vida lineup. It gets an all-black grab rail and retains the tail light from the Vida V2. The switches on the VX2 are slightly different from the Vida V2 and it appears to have a physical key slot. The Vida V2 gets a 7-inch touchscreen instrument display, but the spy images reveal that the VX2 version gets a smaller and more basic digital screen.

The features of the Vida VX2 have not been officially announced yet. But, leaked images show that the model name has the word ‘Plus’ added to it, which means it will have multiple battery pack options. The Vida V2 is currently available with three battery packs – 2.2kWh, 3.4kWh and 3.94kWh. Hero may offer one or more of these battery options in the VX2. This electric scooter will have telescopic forks at the front and double shock absorbers at the rear. Disc brakes will be provided at the front for braking.

Hero vida vx2 Price

The Vida V2 Profile is available in three terms: Lite, Plus and Pro. Prices start at Rs 74,000, with the Plus priced at Rs 85,300, and the Pro priced at Rs 1,15,300, ex-showroom. The entry-level Lite has a 2.2 kWh battery with a range of 94 km, a top speed of 69 kmph and two ride modes – Eco and Ride. The mid-range Plus has a 3.4 kWh battery with an IDC range of 143 km, a top speed of 85 kmph and three ride modes – Eco, City and Sports.
