Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has started deliveries of its newly launched Rebel 500 and X-ADV in India. Both the models are available for sale at Honda’s Big-Wing topline dealerships.
While the X-ATV is available at Big-Wing dealerships in India, the Rebel 500 is available only in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The Honda Rebel 500 is priced at Rs. 5.12 lakhs. It is available in only one colour – Matte Black Metallic.
The Rebel 500 is powered by a 471 cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder motor. It produces 45.6 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine delivers torquey performance with a strong bottom end. The design is a retro-cruiser with relaxed ergonomics and a low seat height of 690 mm.
On the other hand, the Honda X-ATV is available at a price of Rs. 11.91 lakh (ex-showroom). Its price is quite high. The Honda X-ATV gets a 745 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This unit produces 57 hp of power at 6,750 rpm and 69 Nm of peak torque at 4,750 rpm.
The new X-ATV comes with features like a USB Type-C charging port, a 5-inch full-colour TFT display. Furthermore, the Honda RoadSync app connects riders to receive calls and SMS alerts, access turn-by-turn navigation, and voice control.
It gets ride-by-wire technology, four ride modes – Standard, Sport, Rain and Gravel. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and cruise control system for optimum traction in varying road conditions. Honda offers its X-ATV model in two colors – Graphite Black and Pearl Clare White.
