New Mahindra Bolero SUV spotted testing in India: The SPY pictures clearly show that the new generation Mahindra Bolero now looks more muscular and Mini Defender-like than before. Its high shoulder line and wide stance give it a very strong and rugged look. Although there have been many changes in the design, Mahindra has tried to retain the classic identity of the Bolero. This SUV will come in less than 4 meters in length.

New design from front to rear

The front end of the new Bolero has been completely redesigned, which includes updated grille, modern LED headlamps and new surface treatment. Apart from this, the SUV has been given a flush type door handle, which gives it a premium look.

According to reports, the new Bolero is also likely to be given independent rear suspension, which will make its ride quality even better. Overall, this Bolero is now emerging as a rough and tough small SUV that will give better performance in both urban and rural areas. The new Bolero is being developed on Mahindra’s New Flexible Architecture (NFA). It is a multi-energy supportive platform that is capable of supporting diesel, petrol, hybrid and fully electric variants. This is the same platform on which Mahindra plans to launch its new ICE and EV SUVs in the future, which will strengthen the company’s EV strategy and net-zero target.

How are the features?

Talking about the features, the new Bolero will no longer remain only a strong SUV, but it will emerge as a smart SUV full of technology. It will be given a sunroof for the first time. Apart from this, premium features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), large touchscreen infotainment unit, digital instrument cluster, connected car features and automatic transmission will also be included. The new Bolero is likely to be offered in diesel and petrol engine options initially. Later, hybrid and fully electric variants can also be introduced in it. Let us tell you that the new generation Mahindra Bolero can be launched in the first half of 2026. It will be positioned below the Scorpio N and above the current Bolero.
