Renault Kiger: Renault India may soon launch the facelift version of its only 5-seater sub-compact SUV Kiger. When launched, this car will compete with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
Renault Kiger: Renault India is going to bring a mid-life facelift of its Triber and Kiger vehicles very soon. Since the launch of these two vehicles, there has been no major change in their design. Recently, some spy shots of the new Kiger being tested have surfaced in media reports. Some information about the new Kiger has come to light in this. This 5-seater sub-compact SUV competes with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue in the Indian market.
Kiger is an SUV that falls in this segment. It is being facelifted so that it can be presented better in its segment. Spy pictures show that the new Kiger has square shaped LED tail lights at the rear. Kiger now features a large front grille which is not there in the current model. There may also be a smaller grille above this grille, which may have “RENAULT” written on it. The bonnet line is now straight and there is no separate cut to fit the Renault logo in it. The design of the LED DRL may be slightly thinner and sleeker, but its basic shape will remain almost the same.
Renault Kiger Headlights and fog lights
The setup of the headlights looks almost similar to the current model. That is, three small LED projectors that are installed horizontally. For the first time, Renault can offer fog lights in Kiger and it is expected that they will also have cornering function, as was in the earlier Captur model. The C-shaped LED tail lights will remain the same as before. The 2026 Kiger is likely to get the same engine, that is, a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine. Both NA and turbo options will be available. Options like 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT and CVT gearbox can be given for transmission.
Renault Kiger Safety Features
The current Renault Kiger has many features, including advanced safety systems, a large cabin and a variety of connectivity options. The company claims that the Kiger gives a mileage of up to 20.5 kmpl. It includes 17 safety features like ABS, EBD, brake assist, ESP, airbags and reverse parking sensors.
