But its 5 exclusive features make it really special, which are not present in any other Tata car. Let’s know what makes Tata Harrier EV different from other models
- 540-degree camera with transparent mode
The Tata Harrier EV has an advanced 540-degree camera system, which is a step ahead of the 360-degree view. It includes an extra underbody view called “Transparent Mode”. This system enables the driver to show what is happening under the vehicle, making it very easy to drive on bad roads, large potholes and off-road trails. This feature is especially useful for off-roading enthusiasts and is not available in any other Tata vehicle.
- Dual Motor AWD Setup
Harrier EV has become India’s first mass-market electric SUV to feature a dual motor all-wheel drive setup. It has one electric motor each on the front and rear axle, which gives the vehicle more grip and stability. Apart from this, it has a Boost Mode, which enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.
- 6 Multi-Terrain Modes
Making the Tata Harrier EV special, the company has provided 6 multi-terrain driving modes in it, while the standard Harrier has only 3 modes. These modes include – Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass and Custom Mode. These drive modes adjust the vehicle’s power delivery, traction control and throttle response as needed, allowing the vehicle to perform well on all types of roads.
14.5-inch QLED infotainment system
In the Harrier EV, Tata has introduced the largest 14.5-inch Neo QLED infotainment display ever, which has been designed by Samsung. This display gives a very sharp, crisp and high-resolution viewing experience. It also supports wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and OTA updates. Such a large and advanced display has not been given in any other Tata car till now.
A modern digital IRVM (interior rear view mirror) has also been included in the Harrier EV. This digital mirror gets a live feed from the camera mounted in the shark fin antenna, making the rear visibility very clear. It also has a recording function, so that it can also act as a dashcam. This feature eliminates the problem of blind spots to a great extent and improves the safety standards.
