TVS iQube Electric Scooter: TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 model for its popular electric scooter iQube in India. Now the company has also added a new variant to it, which has a 3.1 kWh battery.
The price of this new variant has been kept a little more than Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, now TVS iQube has become available in four different battery options (2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, 3.5 kWh and 5.1 kWh.).
Charging and Speed
The top speed of this variant is 82 km/h and it claims to give an IDC range of up to 121 km. Talking about charging, this scooter gets charged from 0 to 80% in 4 hours 30 minutes. Its total weight is 117 kg, which makes it very stable and balanced. This new variant is better for those customers who want good performance and range in the mid-range budget.
Now TVS iQube will be available in 6 variants
TVS iQube is now available in a total of 6 variants, which differ on the basis of battery pack and range. The most base model comes with a 2.2 kWh battery, which gives an IDC range of around 100 km and its price starts at around 94,000. Above this is the variant with a 3.1 kWh battery, which gives a range of 121 km and its ex-showroom price is slightly more than 1 lakh. At the same time, the 3.5 kWh battery variant comes with a range of 145 km and its price is around 1.25 lakhs.
The top model is the iQube ST (5.1 kWh), which offers the highest IDC range of 212 km and is priced at around 1.55 lakhs. It takes only 4 hours and 18 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent.
Equipped with smart features
As far as technical features and riding comfort are concerned, tubular frame has been used in all variants of TVS iQube. Telescopic forks are provided in the front and twin tube shock absorbers in the rear, which ensure a smooth riding experience. For braking, a 220 mm disc brake has been given in the front and a 130 mm drum brake in the rear, which also makes the braking performance strong. All variants get TFT display which includes smart features like Bluetooth connectivity and navigation alerts.
Safety and technology
Talking about safety and advanced technology, TVS iQube has a hill hold assist feature which prevents the scooter from sliding back on the slope. Also, parking assist feature is also present. Apart from this, visual elements like dual tone body finish, backrest, and stylish graphics have also been provided in the scooter, which not only make it smart and safe but also stylish.
