Ultraviolette Tesseract has made a grand entry in the market. This electric scooter has set a new record by getting 70,000 bookings. Let’s know its details in detail.
Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter: The electric two-wheeler segment in India is no longer limited to just mileage, but it is now rapidly moving into the world of performance and high-tech features. In this episode, Ultraviolette Automotive’s new offering Tesseract has made a tremendous bang. This scooter has so far garnered 70,000 bookings, which is a record in itself. Let’s know its details in detail.
Bumper booking received along with the launch
Ultraviolette launched Tesseract in March 2025 and its price was kept at Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 50,000 customers. But, when the company saw that the booking target was exceeded in the first month itself, the price was increased to Rs 1.45 lakh.
It is worth noting that this price is only for the entry-level variant (3.5kWh battery). Apart from this, the company has also promised high-spec variants with 5kWh and 6kWh batteries, whose prices and features will be announced by the end of the year.
Ultraviolette Tesseract Features
The Tesseract is being introduced not just as an electric scooter, but as a futuristic machine. There are some amazing features available in it.
It has features like onboard navigation, wireless phone charging, front and rear radar, blind spot detection mirror, smart dashcam, 2-level traction control, 4-level regenerative braking, dual-channel ABS and hill hold assist. Some of these features are likely to be available only in the top variants.
Talking about performance
According to the company’s website, the top speed of the Tesseract is said to be 125 km/h, which could be of its high-spec model. Its speed and range may be slightly less in the entry-level variant, but it can still prove to be a powerful option in the electric scooter segment.
Ultraviolette Tesseract Delivery and future plans
The delivery of Ultraviolette Tesseract will start from the first quarter of 2026. At the same time, information about the price and specification of its different variants will be revealed by the end of 2025.
Will Tesseract be a game changer?
The figure of 70,000 bookings clearly shows that the youth of India now wants technology and performance, not just mileage from the scooter. Tesseract is a sample of Ultraviolette’s bold engineering and if it performs as promised, it can become a big challenge for big brands like Ola, Ather and TVS.
