Bajaj Auto has announced a reduction in the price of its popular CNG bike Freedom 125 CNG. The company has reduced the starting price of the motorcycle by Rs 5,000.

The company has cut the starting price of the motorcycle by Rs 5,000. This price cut is applicable only on the entry-level NG04 drum variant. That is, now the new range starts at Rs 85,976 (ex-showroom). Let us tell you that Freedom 125 is available in a total of three variants. There is no change in the prices of the bike’s mid-spec NG04 Drum LED (Rs 95,981) and top-of-the-line NG04 Disc LED (Rs 1.11 lakh).
This is the reason for the reduction in prices
It is believed that the major reason for the reduction in prices can be its sales. Let us tell you that Freedom 125 registered triple-digit sales of only 993 units in April 2025 and 1,394 units in March 2025. This sale is quite low considering the massive commuter motorcycle segment.

If we talk about the powertrain, the Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle has a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 9.5bhp and peak torque of 9.7Nm. Let us tell you that this Bajaj bike has a 2 liter petrol and 2 liter CNG tank. It comes with a mileage of 100 km/kg for CNG and 65 km/liter for petrol.
