Bajaj Chetak 3001: Bajaj has launched its new electric scooter Chetak 3001 in the domestic market. This new scooter will replace the previous model Chetak 2903. With this, it will become the most economical electric scooter of the Chetak 35 series.
Bajaj Chetak 3001 Electric Scooter: Bajaj Auto is continuously increasing its dominance in the electric two-wheeler segment of the country. Recently, the company has overtaken the country’s leading electric two-wheeler company Ola Electric to occupy the number two position. Now today the company has launched its new electric scooter Chetak 3001 in the domestic market. This new scooter will replace the previous model Chetak 2903, along with this all the Chetak scooters in the company’s portfolio will be equipped with the new platform which was launched last year.
Price of Bajaj Chetak 3001
In terms of look and design, it is similar to other models of Chetak. However, it has been designed on a completely new frame and floorboard battery architecture. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful battery pack, the starting price of the new entry level Chetak scooter is Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom). The company has introduced Chetak 3001 in a total of three color variants. In which customers will get the option of red, yellow and blue color.

Driving range of Bajaj Chetak 3001
Bajaj Auto has given a battery pack of 3kWh capacity in this electric scooter. Regarding which the company claims that this battery pack is capable of giving a driving range of 127 km in a single charge. However, the company has not yet disclosed whether this is a real world range or IDC claimed range. The company is providing a 750W charger as standard with this scooter. With the help of which its battery gets charged from 0 to 80 percent in 3 hours 50 minutes.
Since the same frame has been used in 3001 which is found in Chetak 35, the company has also given 35 liters of underseat storage in this scooter. This is a very important and useful feature in the case of scooters.

The company has provided an LCD display in this scooter. With TecPac software, the Chetak 3001 has functions like call and music control, guide-me-home light, hill hold assist, reverse light and auto-flashing stop lamp. This scooter, which comes with a full metal body, has only drum brakes in two wheels, as is also seen in the 3503.

Coming at a starting price of Rs 99,990, the Bajaj Chetak 3001 is one of the most affordable electric scooters in the company’s portfolio. Even in terms of pricing, it is much cheaper than some 123 cc scooters available in the country. Although its price is about Rs 1,500 more than the Chetak 2903, but now this scooter will be replaced.
