Bajaj plans to launch new 125cc Platina and NS150 Pulsar bikes!

Bajaj is reportedly planning to launch two new bikes in India. One could be in the 125cc segment and the other in the 150cc segment. Here’s what these bikes could be.

Bajaj is planning to launch some new bikes in the bike category with engine capacity above 125 cc. While Bajaj has only mentioned that some new bikes will be coming, the company has not mentioned what kind of bikes they will be.

Also, information has been released that Bajaj may launch some specific bike models based on the current line-up. Let’s see what these bike models are.

First up, the 125cc segment

Bajaj has announced that it will launch a new 125cc bike in India within the current financial year. This new 125cc bike is expected to be launched by March 2026 or in the first week of March. Based on the information we have, this 125cc bike is expected to be the Platina 125 bike.

The best-selling bike in the 125 cc segment is Honda’s Shine. The Shine is priced at Rs 85,021 ex-showroom. The Bajaj line-up also includes the Pulsar 125 as the cheapest 125 cc bike. The bike is priced at Rs 85,178 ex-showroom.

Therefore, Bajaj may plan to launch the Platina model with a 125 cc engine at a price slightly lower than the Shine, at Rs. 80,000 or thereabouts, to attract customers. Moreover, this new bike will also compete with the best-selling Shine 125 bike. Currently, Bajaj is selling two bike models under the Platina name, with two types of engines, 100 cc and 110 cc.

New 150cc Bike

Bajaj sells NS125, NS160, NS200 and NS400 bikes in the sporty NS bike line of Pulsar. It seems that the company is also planning to launch a new NS150 bike model. Bajaj can launch the new NS150 bike model at a price of up to Rs. 5,000 more than the Pulsar N150 model. The N150 bike is being sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.78 lakh. It is also noteworthy that Bajaj is planning to launch this 150cc bike only after the launch of the aforementioned 125cc bike.
