Honda EV: Honda brings affordable EV plan with 102 km range for just Rs. 678

Honda has opened its first EV concept store in Bengaluru, showcasing electric models like the Activa e and QC1. It offers 20 kWh of power for Rs 678 per month.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has taken a big leap towards electric mobility with the launch of its first EV concept store in India. The innovative store is located at Mantri Square Mall in Malleswaram, Bengaluru. It is designed to provide customers with an interactive experience of Honda’s latest electric vehicle technology. With the launch, Honda has introduced a budget-friendly subscription plan for its electric scooter, the Activa e. This makes EV usage more affordable for customers in India.

Honda EV Concept Store

The EV Concept Store is not just a showroom, but an experiential hub showcasing Honda’s global innovations in electric mobility. The store showcases two key electric models, the Activa e and the Honda QC1. There, customers can explore their design, details and technological advancements. This interactive space allows visitors to understand the electric scooter lineup and see what Honda has to offer in India’s growing EV market.

Battery Swap Demo

One of the highlights of the store is the ‘Safe Tech Zone’, where Honda demonstrates the key technologies behind its electric models. Customers can learn about components such as the PMS motor, hub motor, chargers and the Honda Mobile Power Pack (MPP). The store also features a live demonstration of Honda’s battery swap technology with the Honda Power Pack Exchanger e:. This gives users an understanding of how easy and efficient it is to swap batteries instead of waiting for a full charge.

Affordable BaaS Lite Plan

To make electric mobility more accessible, Honda has launched a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Lite plan for its Activa E scooter. Under this plan, users can access up to 20 kWh of energy per month by paying just Rs. 678. This translates to a driving range of approximately 600 km per month. A single full charge provides a range of up to 102 km. The plan allows customers to conveniently swap batteries at Honda’s dedicated swap stations, reducing downtime and improving convenience.

A very important milestone

This new offering, coupled with the concept store experience, highlights Honda’s commitment to promoting sustainable and affordable electric mobility in India. The BaaS Lite plan complements the existing basic and advanced subscription models, offering customers greater flexibility. Through this initiative, Honda is not only showcasing cutting-edge technology but also making EV ownership simple and affordable for everyday users in the country.
