Kia is set to launch its first made-in-India electric car, the Carans Classic EV, on July 15. This 7-seater MPV will be available in multiple battery packs and variants and will be equipped with features similar to the Creta EV.
Kia Carens Clavis EV: Kia has created a stir in the Indian automobile market. It is launching cars with powerful features in the market. Kia’s biggest hit among them is the new 7 seater MPV Carens Classic. It is also the second most sold MPV in the Indian market after Ertiga. The company is now going to make a splash with this car on the electric model as well.
Actually, on July 15, the company is going to unveil the Carens Classic EV. This is the first locally manufactured EV from Kia. It will also be the first three-row electric vehicle in this segment. The company is claiming that it will be offered with several battery packs and variants. At the same time, its price is expected to be revealed in August.
Kia Carens Clavis EV Battery
Kia Carens EV or Carens Clavis EV is likely to get a package like Creta EV inside. It will have the same battery pack and motor options as the Creta Electric with 42 kWh and 51.5 kWh packs. Its 42 kWh pack gives a range of 390km and 51.5 kWh battery pack gives a range of 473km. Their motor outputs are capable of delivering an estimated 133 bhp power and 169 bhp power.
