Mahindra will introduce a new 7-seater XUV7e to its electric vehicle lineup in 2025. Based on the XUV9e, it offers improved range, features, and a spacious interior.
Mahindra XUV7e: Mahindra & Mahindra has carved a niche for itself in the EV segment with electric SUVs like the BE.06 and XUV.e9, based on its new INGLO module lightweight skateboard platform. Driven by high demand, the company recorded its highest monthly production (3,692 units) and total sales (4,021 units) in May 2025. The total production and sales of these EVs have crossed 15,000 units in five months.
Mahindra XUV7e EV 2025
Looking to further expand its electric vehicle lineup, new reports suggest that Mahindra will launch a new 7-seater electric SUV in late 2025. The production version of this could be called the ‘Mahindra XUV.e7’. It will essentially be a three-row version of the XUV.e9 coupe SUV. The official details and features of the Mahindra XUV.e9 7-seater SUV are yet to be revealed. However, it is expected to share many design elements, features, components and powertrain with the 5-seater version.
Mahindra XUV7e EV Specs, Range
As a 7-seater version of the XUV.e9, the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e7 could come with 59kWh and 79kWh LFP (lithium-iron phosphate) batteries, which are paired with 286bhp and 231bhp electric motors, respectively. On the MIDC cycle, the smaller battery offers a range of 542 km, while the larger battery version offers a range of 656 km on a full charge. However, the range of the Mahindra XUV.e9 7-seater will be slightly different than its 5-seater sibling.
The interior of the Mahindra XUV.e7 will be similar to the XUV.e9. It will feature a three-screen setup (each measuring 12.3 inches), a two-spoke steering wheel, and an illuminated logo. Captain seats are expected in the second row. While the traditional roofline will ensure spacious headroom.

The Mahindra XUV.e9 7-seater SUV will be priced between Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 2.50 lakh more than its 5-seater version, which is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 21.90 lakh to Rs. 30.50 lakh.
