Tata Harrier EV bookings begin tomorrow, know details

Tata Harrier EV: Launched at a price of ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Tata Harrier EV will be available for bookings from July 2.

Tata Harrier EV: Tata Motors’ new Harrier electric model has been announced. The Harrier EV AWD has been launched in a single variant called ‘Empowered 75 kWh AWD’ at a price of ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will begin from July 2.

It has features like 622 km range, Boost mode, 6 terrain modes, off-road assist mode. It is based on Tata’s Active EV platform. It has a 75 kWh battery pack, dual motors that deliver 309 bhp of power and 504 Nm of torque. It can reach 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.

The Harrier EV is available in five AWD variants: Adventure 65, Adventure S 65, Fearless+ 65, Fearless+ 75, Empowered 75. Priced between ₹21.49 lakh and ₹27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The lower variants have a 65 kWh battery pack and a single, rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 235 BHP of power.

Tata Harrier EV Safety Rating

It has received a five-star NCAP safety rating. The 65kWh battery version offers a range of 538 km on a single charge. The C75 has a range of 420 km to 445 km. It offers 238 bhp of power and 315 Nm of torque. The 65kW RWD variant offers 67 litres of boot space. It takes 9.3 hours to charge from 10 to 100% on a 7.2kW AC charger and 25 minutes (20 to 80%) on a 100kW DC fast charger.

The Harrier EV is also available with a 75kWh battery pack that produces 238bhp and 315Nm of torque. The AWD drive-train system offers a range of 627 km and a C75 range of 480km – 505km. The 75kW RWD version takes 10.7 hours (10 to 100%) on a 7.2kW AC and 25 minutes (20 to 80%) on a 100kW DC fast charger.

Tata Harrier EV Range

The 75kWH battery pack has dual motors, producing 158bhp at the front and 238bhp at the rear, and an all-wheel drive system. It produces 504Nm of torque. It offers a range of 622 km and a C75 range of 460km to 490km. It supports AC and DC fast charging.

There are several drive modes such as Eco, City, Sport, and a special Boost for the AWD version. The lower variants have Normal, Wet, and Rough Terrain modes. The 75 AWD variant has advanced modes such as Custom, Snow/Grass, Mud, Sand, and Rock.

Approach, departure, and breakover angles are 25.3°, 26.4°, and 16.6°, respectively. The 65 and 75 variants have 28% gradeability, while the 75 AWD variant has 47% gradeability.
