Tata Harrier EV Safety Rating: Tata Motors’ cars are very much liked in the Indian market. The company’s latest Harrier has proved its mettle in safety. It has performed brilliantly in the India NCAP crash test and achieved a 5-star safety rating. In such a situation, now Harrier EV has become one of the safest electric cars in India. Tata Harrier EV scored 32/32 points in adult safety and 45 out of 49 points in child safety in the NCAP crash test. This safety tag is applicable on both its rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants.
Tata Harrier EV comes with five variants
Tata Harrier EV is offered with five variants and two battery options. Its prices range from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The variant wise prices are as follows – Adventure 65 (65kWh) 21.49 lakhs, Adventure S 65 21.99 lakhs, Fearless+ 65 23.99 lakhs, Fearless+ 75 24.99 lakhs and Empowered 75 27.49 lakhs. The price of the top variant Empowered AWD has not been announced yet. With this, AC fast charger and installation charges will be taken separately.
Design and features of the vehicle
Talking about the design, Harrier EV retains the Harrier DNA along with a futuristic look. It gets a new EV style front grille, ‘EV’ badging, 19-inch aero alloy wheels, and ‘Harrier.EV’ lettering on the tailgate. Also, Stealth Edition has been introduced, which has black-out design elements inside and out. Its 75 kWh battery pack has an ARAI-certified range of 627 km.
Harrier EV Empowered comes in four colors like Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, Pristine White and Pure Grey. Its dimensions are 2 mm longer and 22 mm higher than the standard Harrier. Talking about the interior and features, Harrier EV gets a 14.53-inch Samsung QLED touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, and expandable boot space from 502 liters to 999 liters.
