TVS’s Jupiter scooter has gained a lot of popularity in India last year. The sales of this scooter have increased rapidly. This is the reason why the scooter has completed more than 10 lakh customers within 12 months.
TVS Jupiter: The sales of TVS Jupiter, which competes with the most popular Honda Activa scooter in India, have increased tremendously in the last few months. TVS Jupiter sales have grown by 31 percent in the last financial year i.e. 2024-25. As a result, more than 1 million i.e. 10 lakh people have bought the scooter in just one year. Not only this, its total sales have exceeded 75 lakh units since its launch in September 2013. TVS is soon going to launch the new Jupiter 125, whose teaser has been released recently.
TVS Jupiter is currently the second best-selling scooter in India. If we look at the figures of April 2025, Honda Activa was bought by more than 1.94 lakh people, but its sales decreased by 25 percent on an annual basis. On the other hand, Jupiter was bought by more than one lakh people in the same month, but its sales grew by 33 percent on an annual basis. Jupiter was first launched in September 2013. It was first launched in 110 cc model and later in 125 cc model as well.
Last year was the best
Jupiter had its best year in FY 2025. In 12 months, it recorded sales of more than 11,07,285 units, which is 31% more than last year. A total of 8,44,863 units were sold in FY 2024. Due to this great performance, Jupiter achieved a 61% share in TVS’ record scooter sales of 18,13,103 units in FY 2025 and a 31% share in the Indian scooter industry’s highest ever sales of 35,19,225 units. Jupiter’s highest ever monthly sales were in October 2024, which was 109,702 units.

The base variant of the TVS Jupiter starts at ₹ 78,991 and the base variant of the TVS Jupiter 125 starts at ₹ 88,696. Both variants come in 4 models and 7 colour options. The TVS Jupiter has a wide range of features, including a fuel-efficient engine, ample storage space and multiple connectivity options in the top variants. The scooter gives an excellent mileage of 49 to 62 km/l.
