Upcoming Electric Cars Under Rs 10 Lakhs: This year, car companies are set to launch budget EV cars under ₹10 lakh in India for electric car enthusiasts.

Fuel prices are rising, and environmental concerns are driving more people to switch from petrol and diesel vehicles to electric cars. This year, car companies are set to launch EVs under ₹10 lakh in India, catering to electric car enthusiasts.

Tata Tiago EV

Tata is already a leader in electric vehicle manufacturing, with the Tiago EV already being well-received in 2023. The new 2025 variant is expected to come with a smaller battery. It will also offer a range of 200-220 km on a single charge. Its starting price is expected to be around ₹8 lakh.

MG Comet EV 2025

MG Motor India’s smallest two-door EV will get an updated design and improved features in its new 2025 edition. It is expected to offer a range of up to 240 km and a price tag of ₹9.5 lakh. It will be easy to drive in the city and on narrow roads.
It will also have smart features like 10.25-inch twin display, AI voice controls, voice assistant. It will be a perfect choice for women, new drivers and techie men/women.

Maruti Suzuki eWX EV

This is Maruti Suzuki’s first full-fledged EV hatchback model, first launched in Japan, the Maruti eWX will now come with some changes as per the local demand for the Indian market. It is expected to get a mileage of 250-300 km. Its price is likely to come under the 10 lakh price tag.

Renault Kwid EV

Renault India is set to launch a new electric version of its popular Kwid model in the Indian market by the end of 2025. This electric car version has already been launched in China and other global markets as the ‘City K-ZE’.

The Indian model is likely to have a range of 250 km and be priced under ₹10 lakh. It is expected to be suitable for city commuting and small families. The Indian version of this car will feature modern infotainment features, along with some key safety features (dual airbags, ABS), and mainly low-cost maintenance.
